Rawcruit, a trading name of Cruitical, Inc. · Effective July 31, 2026 · Last updated July 31, 2026
1. Who we are
Rawcruit is a trading name of Cruitical, Inc., a Delaware corporation. It is not a separate company. Rawcruit is the name Cruitical, Inc. uses for its recruitment agency service, where we place candidates with client companies on a contingent basis.
This matters for your rights: the data controller is Cruitical, Inc. Any request you make under this policy is a request to Cruitical, Inc., and applies to your data whether you first encountered us as Rawcruit or as Cruitical. Throughout this policy, “we” and “us” mean Cruitical, Inc.
This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
Two groups of people are covered here. Candidates, whose professional information we research and assess. Client contacts, the people at hiring companies we correspond with. Where a section applies to only one group, we say so.
If you want your data removed, write to yash@rawcruit.com and we will act on it.
2. What we collect
2.1 From candidates, provided directly
Your name, email address, phone number, and location. Your resume or CV. Your work history, education, skills, and career preferences. Salary expectations and notice period. Anything you tell us in a conversation with us, including recorded conversations.
2.2 From candidates, collected from public sources
To build an accurate picture of your work, we research information that is publicly available on the open internet:
- Public professional profiles and personal websites.
- Public code repositories and contribution history.
- Published articles, talks, documentation, and other professional work attributed to you.
- Public information about the companies and institutions on your record, used to give your experience context.
We access only what is publicly available. We do not access private accounts, password-protected material, or anything behind an authentication wall. We do not purchase personal data from data brokers.
2.3 From candidates, generated by assessment
If you take part in an assessment, we collect a recording of the conversation, a recording or log of the work-trial session, the work product you produce during it, and our written evaluation. Assessment materials are collected only with your knowledge, and we tell you before any recording starts.
2.4 From client contacts
Your name, work email address, job title, and company. The roles you are hiring for and the requirements and preferences behind them. Our correspondence with you.
2.5 Automatically, from this website
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and embeds no third-party trackers. Our hosting provider records standard server logs, including IP address and user agent, for security and reliability. We do not use those logs to build a profile of you.
3. Why we use it
For candidates: to assess your suitability for specific roles, to prepare the record we share with a client company, to contact you about opportunities, and to keep you informed about a live process.
For client contacts: to run the search, to deliver candidates, to correspond about a live role, and to invoice on a completed placement.
For both: to meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations, and to enforce our agreements.
We do not sell personal data. We do not share it for advertising. We do not use candidate data to train third-party AI models.
4. Assessment, AI, and human judgment
We use AI systems, including large language models, to research public information, to help conduct and analyze conversations, and to help evaluate work-trial sessions.
No candidate is rejected by an automated decision alone. A person reviews every assessment before a candidate is advanced or set aside, and a person decides what we send to a client. AI outputs, including any score, are an input to that judgment and not a substitute for it.
Scores and evaluations are our opinion about fit for a particular role at a particular company. They are not a general statement about your professional ability, and a low score for one role says nothing about another.
If a candidate wants to know how they were assessed, we will explain it, and correct anything we got wrong.
5. Who we share it with
Client companies. With candidates, we share your record only with companies we have discussed with you, for roles you have agreed to be considered for. We ask you before introducing you anywhere.
Service providers. Hosting, email, storage, scheduling, and the AI providers that support assessment. They process data on our instructions and may not use it for their own purposes.
Legal. Where we are required by law, or to establish or defend legal claims.
Business transfer. If the business is acquired or merged, personal data may transfer as part of it. We will say so before that changes how your data is handled.
6. How long we keep it
Candidate records are kept for as long as we are working with you, and for 24 months after our last meaningful contact, so that we can tell you about roles that fit. After that we delete or anonymize them. You can ask us to delete sooner at any time.
Assessment recordings are kept for 12 months unless you ask us to delete them earlier.
Client records and anything attached to a completed placement are kept as long as the commercial relationship lasts, and afterwards for as long as tax and contract law requires.
7. Your rights
Wherever you are, you can ask us to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you, including our assessment of you.
- Correct anything inaccurate.
- Delete your data.
- Withdraw consent to being represented or assessed, at any time.
- Object to how we are using it, or ask us to restrict it.
- Receive a copy in a portable format.
Write to yash@rawcruit.com. We will respond within 30 days. We will not treat you worse for exercising any of these rights, and withdrawing consent will never affect how we treat you in a future process.
If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. If you are in California, you have the rights described under the CCPA and CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and correct, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined there.
8. Security
Data is held on access-controlled systems and encrypted in transit. Access is limited to the people who need it to do the work. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise, but if a breach affects your personal data we will tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
9. International transfers
We operate from the United States and work with candidates and companies in other countries, including India. Where personal data moves across borders, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including standard contractual clauses where they apply.
10. Children
The service is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
11. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. For material changes affecting people whose data we hold, we will make a reasonable effort to tell you directly.
